- We will be hiring for the following positions:
- ACTORS ~ Must be 16+ (18+ preferred)
- Get PAID to scare people!
- Keep in mind that this is NOT an easy job. It’s physically demanding and exhausting, so please expect to sweat a lot on the busiest of nights.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE & INFORMATION (FRIGHT ATTENDANTS) ~ Must be 18+
- PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS ~ Must be 18+
- ACTORS ~ Must be 16+ (18+ preferred)
- An in-person interview/audition is required before hiring.
- If you cannot make it to a hiring event, we will try to accommodate you on another date.
- All employees are required to have reliable transportation.
The Haunted Ohio Season Pass features UNLIMITED VIP FASTPASS access to the FACTORY OF TERROR AND the AKRON HAUNTED SCHOOLHOUSE & LABORATORY. Pass is valid for all off-season events (NOT including the Ohio Christmas Factory) and all regular season events through Dec. 31, 2026.

There is NO AGE LIMIT to attend our haunted house. It is left up to the parents’ discretion. However, due to the intensity of our show & mature nature of some content, it is not recommended for children under the age of 12. We also do not permit strollers or for children to be carried through the shows.
CHAPERONE POLICY
To enter the Haunted Schoolhouse & Haunted Laboratory, minors (guests 15 years old or younger) must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old and has a valid government-issued photo ID. One (1) chaperone can accompany up to six (6) minors per day. Minors cannot be left alone without a responsible adult chaperone (21+) present. The adult chaperone is responsible for the behavior and safety of the minors during their visit and must be present at all times.
AXE THROWING & ESCAPE ROOMS
Join us in our activities venue, All American Battle Bar, on Fridays or Saturdays on all weeks the haunted house is not open and throw some axes or play an escape room or two! Axe throwing & escape rooms are an extra charge and walk-in availability is not guaranteed. The price is $15pp for 1 hour (we don't offer less than 1 hour.)
