Legendary Akron Haunted Houses

There is NO AGE LIMIT to attend our haunted house. It is left up to the parents’ discretion. However, due to the intensity of our show & mature nature of some content, it is not recommended for children under the age of 12. We also do not permit strollers or for children to be carried through the shows.

CHAPERONE POLICY

To enter the Haunted Schoolhouse & Haunted Laboratory, minors (guests 15 years old or younger) must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old and has a valid government-issued photo ID. One (1) chaperone can accompany up to six (6) minors per day. Minors cannot be left alone without a responsible adult chaperone (21+) present. The adult chaperone is responsible for the behavior and safety of the minors during their visit and must be present at all times.

It is important to note that the adult chaperone IS REQUIRED to visit the box office to purchase a ticket with the minor(s) or to check in for online tickets, and chaperones must be accessible to the staff in the midway, but ARE NOT required to attend the attraction itself. They will not be granted free admission if they wish to do so. Please do not purchase an online ticket for a minor and leave, as they will not be allowed into the attraction without an adult present on HSHL property.
